Glenys Wood Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship has been funded by Initiatives of Change New Zealand in memory of Glenys Wood, a lifelong supporter who introduced the international Creators of Peace programme to New Zealand. The scholarship celebrates Glenys Wood's passion and commitment to building peace and trust, promoting healing, and encouraging change-makers. It supports emerging change makers undertaking Honours or Master's degrees at Victoria University of Wellington in areas related to Peace Building or Peace Studies, Trust Building, Conflict Resolution, addressing Historical Injustice, Restorative Justice, Social Cohesion, Community building and promoting cross-cultural understanding, Change Making or Ethical Leadership. Initiatives of Change is a global movement of people working together to build trust across the world's divides through personal transformation. The scholarship is awarded annually to one student who demonstrates commitment to these values and study areas.
