Global Access Scholarship

The Global Access Scholarship is offered by De Montfort University for international students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate taught study in September 2025 and January 2026. Through the Empowering University strategy, DMU aims to provide international students with access to the international jobs market through a world class education. The scholarship offers a fee reduction awarded automatically to eligible international students who pay the deposit fee before the deposit deadline. For undergraduate students, the scholarship provides £2,000 per year for all years of study depending on level of entry (L4, L5, or L6). For postgraduate taught students, the scholarship amount varies by faculty: £2,000 for Art, Design and Humanities courses, and £3,000 for Business & Law, Computing, Engineering and Media, and Health and Life Sciences courses. An additional £500 full fee payment discount is available for students who pay full tuition fees (minus any eligible scholarships) before the deposit deadline, applicable to the first year of study only.
