Global Excellence Scholarships

Teesside University offers a range of scholarships for eligible international students who demonstrate academic excellence in their application. The aim of these scholarships is to support students who receive the highest grades prior to joining the University. The scholarship value is £2,000 in the first full academic year of study for all successful applicants on a foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate programme. The scholarship is allocated as a fee waiver and awards are made at the discretion of the International Scholarships Committee, who may consider financial background, prior academic performance, as well as other information provided through applications and at any subsequent interview. Students must be full-time sponsored or self-funding international fee payers studying on-campus in Middlesbrough or Darlington, starting their course in January 2026. If applicants meet the criteria, they will be automatically considered for the scholarship without needing to apply separately, though awards are not guaranteed. There are a limited number of scholarships available, and this scholarship cannot be offered in conjunction with any other Teesside University scholarship.
