Global Exchange Scholarship (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies)

HUFS offers up to five scholarships to exchange students with outstanding academic merit from its international partner institutions, such as Temple University. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support including a monthly stipend of KRW 500,000, a one-time payment of KRW 200,000, airfare reimbursement, and medical insurance coverage. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit to applicants from HUFS' international partner universities who are accepted for admission to the HUFS exchange program. Recipients are required to participate in the Foreign Language Peer Tutoring Program, teaching their native languages to HUFS students for 2 hours per week. This scholarship is specifically designed for exchange students pursuing regular academic coursework at HUFS, with a minimum cumulative GPA requirement of 3.2 out of 4.0.
