Global Gold Excellence Scholarship

The Global Gold Excellence Scholarship at the University of Salford supports high-achieving international students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate master's degrees. For undergraduate applicants starting from September 2026, the scholarship is worth £3,500 for every year of study, provided students maintain a good academic record throughout their studies. For postgraduate applicants, the scholarship is worth £3,000 as a one-time award. The scholarship is automatically assessed when students apply for their chosen programme, with no separate application required. Students must hold an offer for an eligible programme and achieve specific academic grades: A-level ABB or equivalent for undergraduates, and a first-class degree for postgraduates. Self-funded students who complete the International Foundation Year at Salford with a grade of 70 or higher are also eligible if they progress to eligible undergraduate programmes. To receive the funding, students must accept their offer of admission and pay their tuition fee deposit by the specified deadline.
