Global Silver Excellence Scholarship

The Global Silver Excellence Scholarship at the University of Salford supports high-achieving international students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate master's degrees. For undergraduate applicants, the scholarship is worth £3,000 for every year of study starting from September 2026. For postgraduate applicants, the scholarship provides £2,500. Undergraduate students who are eligible for the scholarship will receive it for every year of study provided they maintain a good academic record throughout their studies. The scholarship is automatically assessed when students apply for their chosen programme, with no separate application required. Students must hold an offer for an eligible programme and achieve specific academic grades: undergraduate applicants need A-level grades BBC or equivalent, while postgraduate applicants must achieve at least a second-class lower (2.2) degree or above. Self-funded students who complete the International Foundation Year at Salford with grades between 65-69 are also eligible if they progress to eligible undergraduate programmes. To receive the funding, students must accept their offer of admission and pay their tuition fee deposit by the specified deadline.
