About This Opportunity

The Gloria Mills Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered through the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students pursuing studies in mathematics or chemistry at Tarrant County College. The scholarship is funded by Tarrant County College Faculty and Staff and does not require a determination of financial need. Eligible applicants must be entering or currently enrolled at Tarrant County College with the intention to pursue studies in mathematics or chemistry, excluding Nursing majors. Applicants must maintain a minimum TCC GPA of 2.75, or if a first-time TCC student, must have a high school equivalent or passing GED score. Recipients must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the award period (or full-time enrollment as defined by their program). Preference is given to students attending the TCC Northwest Campus. The scholarship offers renewal potential: recipients can receive a spring scholarship if they achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 and complete a minimum of 9 credit hours in the fall semester. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Tarrant County College Foundation Scholarships portal.
