Glorivette Alegria Memorial Scholarship

The Glorivette Alegria Memorial Scholarship is awarded to full-time students at Eastern Illinois University who are at least of sophomore status and are members in good standing with the Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity. Recipients must maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and demonstrate involvement in fraternity, campus, and community activities. Applicants must submit a narrative essay describing their fraternity, campus, and community involvement, as well as relevant awards or honors. At least one letter of recommendation from a personal reference or EIU faculty member is required. Financial need is not a consideration for this award. The scholarship is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed in the Fall semester. The award amount varies and is intended to support undergraduate students who exemplify active participation in their sorority and broader campus community.
