About this opportunity
The GO-Bell Scholarships are awarded annually to students enrolled full-time in the doctoral program in the School of Computer Science in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. Each scholarship is valued at $12,000 per year for a maximum of two years. Students are automatically considered when they apply for admission to the PhD program, based on academic excellence and potential for their research to be internationally competitive. These scholarships are funded by an endowment established by the Government of Ontario, Canada Foundation for Innovation, and Bell Emergis. Recipients will receive the scholarship for a maximum of two years provided they continue to be enrolled full-time and remain in good academic standing in their PhD program. This scholarship can be held in conjunction with other scholarships or earnings.
