Gold Award Scholarship

The Gold Award Scholarship is awarded to entering freshmen at Mississippi State University who have received the Gold Award from Girl Scouts of the USA by the time of enrollment. This one-year scholarship recognizes the achievement of the highest award in Girl Scouting, which requires significant community service and leadership. The scholarship provides $2,000 in financial support, disbursed equally over two semesters during the student's first year at MSU. Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA based on their 9th-11th grade academic performance and submit both the General Scholarship Application and the Gold Award Scholarship Application through the scholarship portal, including documentation of their Gold Award achievement.
