Golden LEAF Community College Scholarship

The Golden LEAF Community Colleges Scholarship is designed to assist North Carolina community college students who are from certain rural counties and demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is funded by the Golden LEAF Foundation through a grant to the North Carolina Community College System. The program offers two tracks: one for curriculum students (up to $2,250 per school year) and one for Workforce Continuing Education students (up to $1,850 per year). Participating colleges may vary, and students are encouraged to check with the financial aid office at their college to see if the college is taking part in the program. Recipients must reside in qualifying Golden LEAF counties in North Carolina and demonstrate financial need.
