Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship

The Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship is offered by Simeone & Miller, LLP, a personal injury law firm based in Washington, D.C. The firm provides two annual scholarships of $1,000 each—one for the fall semester and one for the spring semester—to deserving students who aspire to use the law to achieve justice and make the world a better place. Applicants must submit either a written statement (800-1,000 words) or a video presentation (3-5 minutes) describing the value of using the law to improve people's lives. They can discuss a past experience that motivates them, someone who inspires them, or a vision of what they would like to accomplish. The scholarship is open to undergraduate and law students who are currently enrolled or accepted, and applicants must not be related to any current Simeone & Miller employee. Only the first 200 applications received will be considered for each semester.
