About this opportunity
The Gordon Nordvall Scholarship in Science and Environmental Education was established in 2018 through the estate of Gordon John Nordvall. Mr. Nordvall received his Bachelor of Education at the University of Regina and was a teacher who held a great passion for learning and books. The scholarship will recognize a deserving student who is pursuing studies in the field of science and environmental education. The scholarship is presented to a University of Regina graduate student accepted as a fully-qualified student in a Masters or Doctoral program in Education whose research or field of study is science and environmental education. Applicants must maintain a minimum graduate grade point average of 80% and demonstrate commitment to the field of science and environmental education through a written personal statement. The award value is $2,750 and is available annually to one recipient.
