Governor General's Silver Medal

The Governor General's Silver Medal is awarded annually to the three undergraduate students who achieve the highest academic standing overall upon convocation from their Bachelor degree program at the University of Alberta. Recipients are chosen from a list of nominees, with one nominee submitted per Faculty. The selection is based entirely on academic standing. This prestigious award recognizes exceptional academic achievement among graduating undergraduate students across all faculties. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application, with no separate application required.
