About this opportunity
The Governor Phillip Scholarship offers a fully-funded Master of Philosophy in politics and international relations to students who have completed a first class honours undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. This scholarship has been established to commemorate the bicentenary of the death of Admiral Arthur Phillip RN (1738-1814), with the purpose of promoting bilateral exchange of outstanding students from Australia and the United Kingdom to study at postgraduate level at leading universities in both countries. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support including tuition fees and accommodation for up to two years of Masters by Research study within the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Sydney. Recipients must conduct research in areas such as international relations, public policy, political theory, comparative politics, or Australian politics.
