GP Memorial Lyons Athlete Scholarship

The GP Memorial Lyons Athlete Scholarship was created to honor Henry Braly, the founder of the Braly Family Foundation, who was cherished as a grandfather and known affectionately as 'GP.' This scholarship is a tribute from his grandchildren who graduated from Lyons Middle/High School and shared many beloved memories with him. The scholarship provides a one-time award of $5,000 to a graduating senior from Lyons Middle/High School who is an athlete. The scholarship is awarded in Henry Braly's memory and is funded by the Braly Family Foundation. The scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at an accredited trade school, two-year or four-year college or university for the upcoming fall semester. Award amounts will be split between semesters.
