GPG Scholarships (Higher Education)

The GPG Scholarships (Higher Education) are offered by Federation University Australia in partnership with Global Power Generation Australia (GPGA), a leading independent power producer committed to Australia's renewable energy transition. The scholarships provide $10,000 in financial support to students enrolled in engineering, renewable energy, and information technology programs. Eight scholarships are available for domestic students commencing bachelor or postgraduate studies at the Ballarat campus. Priority is given to female or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, with preference for students from geographic areas within Berrybank, the South West, Central Highlands and Grampians region. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to study and willingness to develop a career within the renewable energy industry. Eligible programs include Bachelor of Engineering and Information Technology, Graduate Certificate in Community Energy & Micro Grid, Master of Engineering Technology (Mechanical Engineering), and Master of Engineering Technology (Renewable Energy and Electrical Power Systems).
