About this opportunity
The GPG Scholarships (TAFE) are foundation scholarships offered by Federation University Australia in partnership with Global Power Generation Australia (GPGA). These scholarships provide financial support of $2,000 to students enrolled in TAFE programs related to engineering and renewable energy. Global Power Generation (GPG) is the international energy generation arm of Naturgy Group, a pioneering multinational group operating in more than 20 countries. GPGA is committed to contributing to Australia's renewable energy transition through the development of a portfolio of renewable assets across the country. The scholarships are designed to support students pursuing Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade or Composites), Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician), or Diploma of Engineering (Technical), with priority given to female or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Preference is also given to students from geographic areas within Berrybank, the South West, Central Highlands and Grampians region. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to study and willingness to develop a career within the renewable energy industry.
