GR Van Petten Memorial Prize

The GR Van Petten Memorial Prize is awarded annually to two students in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta. The prize recognizes superior academic standing in therapeutic modules, with one award given to a student entering third year and one to a student entering fourth year of an undergraduate degree program. The recipient entering third year is selected based on academic achievement in PHARM 327, 347, 357, 367, 377, 427, and 487. The recipient entering fourth year is selected based on academic achievement in PHARM 387, 407, 417, 437, 447, 467, 477, 497, and 499. This prize is made possible through endowed funds provided by friends and associates of the late Garry Van Petten. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
