About This Opportunity

This scholarship supports Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students studying a Graduate Certificate in Human and Community Services (Interpersonal Trauma) at the University of Sydney. Established in 2022, it provides assistance to Indigenous students who are not part of the NSW Health Education Centre Against Violence (ECAV) Certificate IV and Advanced Diploma pathway. The scholarship covers academic course fees for two semesters, subject to satisfactory academic performance with a minimum Semester Average Mark of 50 each semester. Recipients must be currently employed in the human and community services workforce and provide a personal statement demonstrating how the scholarship will support their studies. The scholarship is offered through the Sydney School of Education and Social Work and aims to increase accessibility to postgraduate education in interpersonal trauma services for Indigenous Australians.
