Graduate Discount

The University of St Andrews offers a 15% discount on postgraduate tuition fees to students who have graduated or are eligible to graduate from St Andrews. The discount is available for postgraduate degree programmes at the University and is applied to each standard fee-paying year of study, including the compulsory fieldwork year if applicable. The discount is calculated as 15% of the St Andrews standard tuition fee, taking into account any exceptions and based on remaining fee liability after any other funding has been deducted. The discount will only be applied to the tuition fee balance after any other scholarship or funding has been deducted. Eligibility requires that students have either graduated or been eligible to graduate from the University of St Andrews with a recognised degree, or completed a Global Summer School, Study Abroad or Exchange programme at St Andrews and are returning for postgraduate studies. Students must have an unconditional offer of a place on a postgraduate degree programme. The discount is available for full-time and part-time daytime study modes, and is open to Scotland home, rest of UK, and overseas students. The discount does not apply to students transferring into a postgraduate degree programme from another St Andrews degree programme without graduating, students who previously studied an International Education and Lifelong Learning Institute postgraduate preparation programme, or those who previously studied on an International Foundation Programme. No application form is required as the discount is automatically applied when programme tuition fees are generated.
