About this opportunity
An award valued at $500 will be awarded to a student registered full-time in a master's or doctoral program in French Studies in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo. Selection will be based on demonstrated leadership and engagement within the francophone community that has taken place either within or outside the Department of French Studies at the University of Waterloo. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent. This award recognizes graduate students who demonstrate active participation and leadership in the francophone community. The recipient will be selected annually in June by the Department of French Studies Graduate Studies Committee. Students may only receive this award once during their graduate program and may not receive this award concurrently with the Graduate Studies Award of Excellence in French Studies or the Nantes Graduate Award.
