Graduate Support Scheme

About This Opportunity

The LSE Graduate Support Scheme (GSS) is a needs-based financial aid program that makes available approximately £3 million annually in awards for students with Home or Overseas fee status applying for diploma and taught master's programmes at the London School of Economics. The scheme is intended to supplement funding already secured or expected, rather than providing a full funding package. Awards range from £5,000 to £15,000 depending on financial need as determined through a means-tested application process. The GSS is open to all applicants for diploma and taught master's study, with specific exclusions for certain modular or executive programmes. Double degree students are eligible for GSS funding during their time at LSE. Applications are submitted through the Graduate Financial Support online application after applicants have submitted their admission application and received access to the Graduate Application Portal. The scheme assesses financial need rather than academic merit, and applicants are encouraged to provide comprehensive information about their financial circumstances. Successful applicants must provide supporting documentation, and awards may be amended or withdrawn if documentation is inconsistent with the application.
