About This Opportunity

This bursary supports female students on or previously on humanitarian visas studying at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Graduate Women Queensland Inc Sunshine Coast Branch (GWQ SC) aims to promote the advancement of women through education and provides significant and long-standing support for UniSC students through a range of bursaries. The bursary is intended to assist students who are current or previous holders of Australian humanitarian visas including Permanent Humanitarian Visa, Protection Visa, Refugee Visa, Global Special Humanitarian Visa, or Resolution of Status Visa. Student recipients receive the bursary funds as a lump sum following enrolment checks after Census date in the relevant semester. This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor, and if funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded.
