About This Opportunity

The Graduate Women QLD Inc. Sunshine Coast Indigenous Women's Bursary is offered to female Indigenous students enrolled in any undergraduate degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Graduate Women Queensland Inc Sunshine Coast Branch (GWQ SC) aims to promote the advancement of women through education and provides significant support for UniSC students through various bursaries. In 2019, GWQ SC generously offered support to Indigenous female students at UniSC through funds provided by the sale of paintings by GWQ SC member Sally Chandler, who was inspired by a trip to Central Australia. The bursary provides financial assistance to female Indigenous undergraduate students in financial need, with recipients receiving the bursary funds as a lump sum following enrolment checks after Census date in the relevant semester. This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor, and if funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded.
