About this opportunity
This program offers voluntary and non-profit organizations in Oslo the opportunity to receive free waste disposal services at designated recycling stations. Organizations registered in the Norwegian Volunteer Registry can apply for up to 5 free waste deliveries per year at the Haraldrud and Grønmo recycling stations. Each delivery allows up to 3 cubic meters of waste to be dropped off.
The program is designed to support the activities of voluntary and non-profit organizations by reducing their operational costs related to waste management. Organizations must be registered in the volunteer registry and located in Oslo to be eligible. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year, though there is a limited number of permits available annually.
Approved organizations receive a clip card that must be presented when delivering waste. The permit does not cover hazardous waste disposal. Applications submitted before November 1st are valid for the current year, while those submitted after November 1st are valid for the following year. Organizations receive written responses to their applications within approximately four weeks of submission.
