About This Opportunity
The UCL-GREAT Scholarships 2026 are jointly funded by UCL and the British Council to provide financial support to citizens of Nigeria and Pakistan. The scholarship provides £10,000 to support postgraduate taught Master's degree students at UCL. There are 2 scholarships available in 2026/27, one for Nigeria and one for Pakistan. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence and financial need. The scholarship will be applied to the recipient's tuition fees and recipients are obliged to inform the UCL Student Funding Office immediately of any other funding they are awarded towards their UCL Master's degree studies. Distance learning and mod flex courses are not eligible for this scholarship.

Review process
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted mid June to provide evidence of financial need. When this has been assessed, successful candidates will be informed at the beginning of July.
