About this opportunity
This scholarship is open to graduates of a Waukesha county high school who are studying for an undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, nursing, biomedical science, communication sciences and disorders, health care administration, kinesiology, pre-physical therapy, occupational studies, biological sciences, biochemistry, pre-dentistry, pre-pharmacy or pre-medicine at UW-Milwaukee. Applicants must have sophomore, junior or senior standing, demonstrate academic merit and financial need, and be enrolled full-time. Preference may be given to students currently employed either on-campus or off-campus. Eligible students must currently reside in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Waukesha or Washington County and must not hold an athletic scholarship at UWM. The scholarship provides financial support up to $5,000 to help students pursue their undergraduate education in specified health sciences, STEM, and related fields.
