About this opportunity
The Greenwich Business School Dean's Springboard Bursary is designed to provide targeted financial support for students from underrepresented backgrounds who face barriers to continuing their postgraduate studies. The bursary specifically supports students who did not achieve an upper-class honours in their undergraduate programme and for whom a postgraduate qualification can make a significant difference in accessing graduate-level employment. The award is a £3,000 cash bursary paid in three termly instalments (pro rata for part-time students). The bursary aims to support students from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds, help address financial barriers to postgraduate study, improve employability and access to graduate-level careers, and promote academic progression among students who may not otherwise consider further study. Priority is given to students from British Pakistani and British Bangladeshi backgrounds, followed by students from other BAME groups, securing a 2.2-degree outcome in specific undergraduate programmes the year before progressing to postgraduate study at Greenwich Business School.
