Greg Farnham Memorial Scholarship

The Greg Farnham Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of Greg Farnham, a Westerville North High School graduate. This scholarship supports Westerville North High School senior athletes who demonstrate excellence in academics and sportsmanship, and who plan to attend an Ohio college or university. Candidates must have earned a minimum of one varsity letter, maintained at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and followed a college preparatory program throughout high school. The scholarship values academic achievement, athletic participation, and community involvement. Applicants are required to submit several documents including a letter of recommendation from a Westerville North Varsity Coach, a personal letter explaining their interests, values, and career goals, and letters of recommendation from both a Westerville North High School teacher and a student/peer. Preference is given to candidates who are members of a District Championship Team, when possible. This scholarship is administered through The Columbus Foundation and provides a minimum award of $1,000 to support the recipient's college education at an accredited Ohio institution.
