Greig Cosier Memorial Scholarship

One or more scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding graduate students in the Department of Biology or the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology at the University of Victoria. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate conscientious effort to their own studies as well as formally or informally mentoring other students. Candidates must be nominated by their academic supervisor, or a current or recent instructor. Nominations must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation citing examples which demonstrate how the student meets the eligibility criteria. Recipients are selected by the Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Department of Biology or the Department of Biochemistry or Microbiology.
