Growing Alberta Scholarship

The Growing Alberta Scholarship is available to residents of Alberta who are in the second year of an agriculture or food related program at NAIT. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate a strong commitment to Alberta's agriculture and food industry through academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and leadership. Applicants must be in good academic standing and show active participation in agriculture and food-related community activities. The award emphasizes demonstrated leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and role model behavior in promoting and supporting the agriculture and food sector. Recipients must also demonstrate a clear commitment to advancing the Alberta agriculture and food industry through their career goals and show meaningful community involvement. Students are required to complete a full application, including an essay outlining their commitment to the industry, to be considered for this award.
