The Growth Impact Fund offers equity investments for social impact businesses in the UK, providing funding in exchange for a share of ownership in the company. This investment option is designed for organizations looking for exponential growth and a long-term partner. The fund invests between £200,000 and £500,000, taking an average stake of 15-25% in businesses. Equity investments are well suited to businesses who cannot afford regular repayments due to irregular cash flow. The fund provides unrestricted funding that can be spent on hiring new staff, purchasing stock, acquiring assets, or other growth needs. Each equity investment is bespoke to suit the individual business needs, with dedicated support from Investment and Portfolio Managers throughout the investment lifecycle. The fund also offers flexible terms, guidance on measuring social impact, and support to improve Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Note that equity investments are currently on hold until the end of 2026, and the fund is only able to invest in asset-locked organisations at this stage.
