Grunn- og aktivitetstilskudd til kvenske og norskfinske organisasjoner

This grant provides basic and activity support to Kven and Norwegian-Finnish organizations operating in Troms county. The funding aims to facilitate viable, voluntary Kven and Norwegian-Finnish associations in Troms. The grant is specifically intended for local Kven and Norwegian-Finnish organizations that work to preserve and develop Kven and Norwegian-Finnish culture, identity, language, traditions, and cultural heritage. Eligible organizations include local branches of regional or national Kven and Norwegian-Finnish organizations. The grant does not cover business and professional organizations, institutions, or religious or political parties. Local branches must have at least one-fifth of their membership with residential addresses in Troms. The basic grant is distributed based on membership numbers, ranging from NOK 6,000 for organizations with 5-25 members up to NOK 9,000 for organizations with more than 75 members. Organizations must be democratically governed with at least five members, hold annual meetings, have approved bylaws, and be registered in the business register. Applications require submission of annual meeting minutes, approved annual reports, audited financial statements, budgets and activity plans, verified membership numbers from Troms, and approved bylaws. The grant supports the preservation of Kven and Norwegian-Finnish cultural heritage through organizational support.
