GSK Opportunity Scholarship

The GSK Opportunity Scholarship provides annual scholarships of up to $5,000 (renewable for up to 3 additional years) to Triangle residents in Chatham, Orange, Wake, and Durham counties of North Carolina who demonstrate the potential to succeed despite adversity and an exceptional desire to improve themselves through further education or training. The scholarship may be used towards any need listed under the school's total cost of attendance, with payments made annually for up to four years. Students must attend or plan to attend a public college or university in North Carolina with no restriction on degree type. Recipients must maintain good academic standing and submit semester reports in order to continue receiving funding. The program is designed to support students who show resilience and determination to achieve their educational goals despite facing significant challenges.
