The Swedish Arts Grants Committee's International Program for Theatre offers residencies in a guest apartment in Berlin. The grant recipient receives access to accommodation as well as a stipend to cover costs for travel and living expenses during the stay. The purpose of the residency is to support artists' opportunities to create, develop and deepen contacts abroad. The apartment is a 2-room apartment with a spiral staircase located in the Kreuzberg district, 4 floors without elevator. There is the possibility to share the apartment with someone you work with, as the apartment has a bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Berlin offers great opportunities to take part in a rich theatre and cultural life. The stay can be designed according to your needs and provides space for a concentrated work period, to deepen contacts or for collaborations with colleagues or other actors in the city.
