About this opportunity
Greenville University's Illinois Allegiance provides four years of full tuition coverage for qualified Illinois students. It reflects GU's commitment to making private Christian liberal arts education affordable for students with the greatest financial need. The program covers full tuition costs for up to 8 semesters for freshmen or 6 semesters for transfer students, provided as last-dollar aid that fills the gap after Pell, MAP, and other scholarships/grants are applied. Recipients must be Illinois residents with family income of $67,100 or less, family assets of $50,000 or less, graduated from an Illinois high school, under age 24, pursuing a first bachelor's degree, and must be Pell Grant and MAP Grant eligible with a Student Aid Index under $1,000. The scholarship is renewable each year if students maintain satisfactory academic progress, submit their FAFSA by December 1st, and remain enrolled full-time with at least 15 credit hours during fall and spring semesters.
