Guldstjärnan

Guldstjärnan is a prize awarded annually to recognize exceptional service and hospitality in the Jämtland Härjedalen region of Sweden. The prize is presented by the municipalities in the county, the County Administrative Board (Länsstyrelsen), and Jämtland Härjedalen Tourism. The award aims to highlight good examples of hospitality and friendly service that contribute to making the region attractive to visit, live, work, and thrive in. The prize is awarded in two categories: Service Person of the Year and Service Company/Workplace of the Year. Each fall, the public has the opportunity to nominate individuals or companies that excel in service and hospitality, followed by a voting process to determine the annual winners in both categories.
