Gulf Coast Community Foundation Scholarships

Gulf Coast Community Foundation awards scholarships to assist students from Sarasota County, Charlotte County, DeSoto County, Boca Grande, Lakewood Ranch, and Longboat Key, Florida in pursuing higher education at accredited postsecondary institutions including universities, two- and four-year colleges, and technical schools. Scholarships are awarded from more than 60 different charitable funds administered by Gulf Coast, with each fund reflecting the individual interests and values of donors. These funds may be designated to support a particular field of study or to assist students from a specific community or school. Students complete a single application to be considered for all scholarship opportunities for which they qualify. Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award. The program supports undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate degree pursuits at accredited institutions within the United States.
