About this opportunity
Gunnar Svedbergs pris is an annual prize awarded to a deserving student who has worked for the benefit of students at the University of Gothenburg in the spirit of Gunnar Svedberg. The prize was established in 2006 as a farewell gift to the university's rector Gunnar Svedberg and is named after him in recognition of the student focus and care he showed during his term. The prize is awarded annually at the university's doctoral degree conferment ceremony. The prize is particularly meritorious if the recipient's efforts have benefited collaboration between students at different parts of the university. The award consists of 10,000 Swedish kronor and a diploma that is presented during the doctoral promotion ceremony.
