Gurharpal Singh Bains Memorial Scholarship

The Gurharpal Singh Bains Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of the BSc (Honors) degree program with Specialization in Geology in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, with preference given to the student with the highest academic standing. This scholarship is funded through endowed funds by the estate of Gurharpal Singh Bains and is administered through the Faculty of Science. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
