Guy and Vanna Tessier Secondary Education Award

The Guy and Vanna Tessier Secondary Education Award is an annual scholarship awarded to a convocating student in the secondary route of the Bachelor of Education program at the University of Alberta who shows outstanding potential to contribute to the improvement of secondary education teaching in Alberta. Selection is based on a combination of academic standing, student teaching reports and recommendations, advisor's recommendations, and commitment to teaching shown through professionally related activities. This endowed award was established by Mr. Guy and Mrs. Vanna Tessier of Edmonton, Alberta, to recognize and support promising future educators who demonstrate excellence in their preparation for secondary teaching careers.
