Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, Showman, Boater community bursary

A non-repayable bursary of £500 per academic year is available to students who are from the Gypsy, Traveller, Roma, Showman and Boater community (GTRSB). This bursary supports undergraduate students from these underrepresented communities who are pursuing full-time studies at Solent University. To be eligible, students must have 'Home' fee status, be enrolled on a full-time undergraduate course, have disclosed GTRSB ethnicity on either their UCAS application or at enrolment, and have a Student Finance England (SFE) household income assessment of less than £25,000 or receive the maximum maintenance loan. The bursary aims to provide financial support to students from the Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, Showman and Boater communities, helping to increase access to higher education for these historically underrepresented groups.
