Halifax Friends of UPEI Entrance Scholarship

The Halifax Friends of UPEI Entrance Scholarship was established in 2004 by a group of UPEI alumni and former Islanders. This scholarship is awarded to a full-time first-year student entering the University of Prince Edward Island from the Halifax region, with preference given to students from that area. Recipients must demonstrate a minimum average of 85% and have participated in community service activities during high school. The scholarship provides financial support of $1,500 and is intended for students who are not already in receipt of another scholarship exceeding $2,500. This award recognizes academic achievement and community engagement among incoming students.
