About this opportunity
The Halim Family Women in Science Scholarship is designed to support women studying STEM programs at RMIT University who can demonstrate circumstances that impact their ability to study. The scholarship aims to increase participation and success of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields by providing financial assistance to those facing various personal, social, or economic challenges. The scholarship is available to students enrolling in a range of undergraduate science programs including Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Space Science, Bachelor of Geospatial Science, Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Surveying, Bachelor of Data Science, and various specialized science programs. Eligibility extends to students who are receiving government low-income benefits, living with disabilities, from rural or regional areas relocating to Melbourne, from under-represented backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, refugees, or recent migrants from non-English speaking backgrounds. The scholarship provides ongoing support throughout the standard duration of the enrolled program.
