Hans Rausing Scholarship

The Hans Rausing Scholarship is dedicated to supporting exceptional PhD students at Imperial College London. This scholarship aims to alleviate financial burdens, allowing talented researchers to focus on their studies and make significant contributions to their fields. By providing essential funding, the Hans Rausing Scholarship empowers the next generation of innovators and leaders to pursue their academic and research ambitions without financial constraints. The award covers full tuition fees and provides an annual stipend for 3.5 years equal to the UKRI rate for London (£21,237 in 2024-25). The scholarship is available to both home and overseas students undertaking research in the Faculty of Engineering or Faculty of Natural Sciences across various departments including Aeronautics, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computing, Physics, Mathematics, and others.
