Harold and Opal Hess Bursaries in Medicine

The Harold and Opal Hess Bursaries in Medicine are awarded annually to students enrolled in any year of the MD program at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on demonstrated financial need and satisfactory academic standing. These bursaries are funded through endowed funds from the Estate of Harold and Opal Hess. Students are automatically considered for this award upon completion of the General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
