Harold Dean Fildes Scholarship

The Harold Dean Fildes Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for undergraduate students in the School of Technology at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship is awarded to juniors and seniors who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours of coursework and maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients must demonstrate good character, academic promise, and career promise, as well as display significant financial need. The scholarship is designed to support students pursuing degrees in fields such as Applied Engineering and Technology, Business Education, Career and Organizational Studies, Computer and Information Technology, Construction Management, Digital Media, Engineering Technology, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, and Organizational Development. The award is disbursed in the Fall semester and the amount varies. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation that details their character, academic promise, and career promise as part of the application process.
