About This Opportunity
The Harold Powers World Travel Fund honors the polymathic scholar and distinguished AMS member, Harold Powers, whose publications ranged from music and language to medieval mode to Indian music to Puccini. The grant is given annually to one or more doctoral students at or PhD graduates of North American universities to conduct doctoral or post-doctoral musicological research in all fields of musical scholarship and throughout the world.
