Harold S. Sanes & Thelma Sanes Medical Scholarship Fund

The Harold S. Sanes & Thelma Sanes Medical Scholarship Fund was established in 1989 by Ms. Thelma Sanes to support medical students at the University at Buffalo. This scholarship is specifically designated for students majoring in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The award provides financial assistance to students who demonstrate both financial need and high academic merit. Preference is given to students from Western New York, with secondary preference to students from New York State. Recipients must complete the FAFSA and demonstrate financial need as part of the eligibility criteria.
